Keith O. Cowan

Board Director & CEO Cowan Consulting Corporation

Since 2013, Keith has served as the CEO of Cowan Consulting Corporation, which provides strategic advisory services, Board support services and investments.  In addition to Enersphere, he has and continues to provide advisory services to Softbank Capital, Sprint Corporation, Assurant, Berenson & Company, Causam Energy, Location Labs and Demoulas Super Markets.  Prior to 2013, Keith was the President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Initiatives at Sprint Nextel Corporation responsible to the Board for long term strategic planning, which included negotiating the sale of control of Sprint to Softbank Corp. and simultaneous acquisition of Clearwire Corp.  Before joining Sprint in 2007, Keith was with BellSouth Corporation for eleven years in various senior executive capacities, including Chief Development Officer responsible for developing the corporate strategy of BellSouth, and for structuring, negotiating and obtaining Board approval for over two hundred transactions globally.  From 1982 to 1996, Keith was an attorney and partner of Alston & Bird in Atlanta specializing in mergers and acquisitions.

Sergio Regueros

Advisor & CEO of Axcellnet 

Sergio Regueros is an accomplished CEO with over 20 years of global and Latin American business experience in the telecommunications and media sectors. He has played an integral part of Enersphere’s ePole™ expansion into the Colombian market.

Mr. Regueros has worked as the Secretary General and Viceminister of Communications for the Ministry of Communications in Bogota, Colombia. He was the CEO of Empresa de Telecommunicaciones de Bogota, the leading telecommunications company in Colombia with 4,000 employees, 2 million customers and revenues exceeding USD 500 million. He was the VP of International Operations Central America for Bell South International along with being the CEO of Telefonica Moviles Colombia, in Bogota, Colombia. Mr. Regueros left Telefonica Moviles to become the Director of Mobile Operations Northern Region for Telefonica Latam in Madrid, Spain where he successfully led the startup of Telefonica Costa Rica. Since then he has been the CEO of Mobile Financial Services Holding, a Telefonica and Master Card Joint Venture, the Founding and Managing Partner of Spektrum Consulting, LLC and the Founder and CEO of Axcellnet.

Mr. Regueros received his JD from Universidad Externado de Colombia, his MS in Public Law from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and his MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. 

Jon VanDonkelaar

Advisor & President of Bellbrook Energy

Jon VanDonkelaar is the president of Bellbrook Energy, LLC who provides Enersphere with a vast product and technology strategic planning and innovation. Jon has helped with building technical teams, technical oversight, product and business cost reduction, as well as profitability improvement. Mr. Van Donkelaar has also been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Dayton since 1988 and has worked for such other companies as Edison Materials Technology Center and Mercury Instruments, Inc.  Jon holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Dayton where he graduated Cum Laude.

Jon is a technology executive experienced in leading cross functional technical teams to solve challenging technical and business problems. He particularly enjoys commercializing new innovative technologies. Jon’s approach is that the “Customer is King” and that leadership is the art of collaboration and encouragement. It is very satisfying for Jon to set the strategic direction, empower teams, and then get out of the way to let excellent people achieve a common goal. People like to follow Jon’s leadership because he treats them like Jon wants to be treated. Jon does the planning and research up front so the project gets done right the first time, and he does what he says he is going to do.
